About the event
BreakThrough: Ice education for families is a FREE community information session with a unique focus on supporting families or friends concerned about someone who may be using methamphetamine (ice). The program covers facts about ice and its effects on the brain and body, withdrawal, recovery and behaviour-change. It focuses on strategies people can use to discuss drug use with loved ones, improve communication, understand relationship dynamics, develop boundaries, respond to challenging situations and access treatment and support for the whole family.
Turning Point Church in Cranbourne are hosting BreakThrough on behalf of Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre (over two nights):

• Tuesdays 27th August & 3rd September 2019 (held over 2 nights)
• 7.00-9.00 pm (each night)
